Compatibility
For Windows 11, 10, 8.x, and 7, macOS 10.14+ with driver installation, and ChromeOS 100.x or later. Linux/Unix not supported. USB docking station does not charge the host computer. Suggested use: web and productivity software; not recommended: gaming, video playback, 2D/3D graphic tools

Quickly come and go from your desk with ease. By connecting many devices with just one cable to your laptop, you gain 12 extra ports of connectivity, making it easier to do more work in less time.

Note: The UD-6950H will not charge your laptop and will need your external charger to provide power to your system. Due to limited USB 3.0 bandwidth and reduced hardware graphics acceleration of the DisplayLink software and hardware used in this docking station we do not recommend it for use with full screen video playback, 2D or 3D graphics applications, or video editing software.

Monitor Compatibility
Supports two high-resolution monitors up to 4K 60Hz (3840x2160 @ 60Hz) when connected to displays that support the desired resolution. While backwards compatible it is important to note:, • DisplayPort 1.2 monitors can support upto 4K 60Hz, • DisplayPort 1.1 monitors can support upto 4K 30Hz,• HDMI 2.0 displays can support up to 4K 60Hz, • HDMI 1.4 displays can support upto 4K 30Hz
Software Compatibility
DisplayLink is a flexible and versatile technology that's great for most users' workflow. But there are a few scenarios where it's not the right fit such as gaming and HDCP (copy-protected) content playback from Blu-ray / Netflix / Amazon Prime Video / iTunes / Hulu / etc.
Power and Charging
This dock does not provide power to the connected laptop or tablet—the laptop will still require a separate charger. The power button on the back of the dock is used to control the power to the docking station itself. It cannot control the power of the laptop.
