Target Components has won the Best Distributor Website and Best Account Manager gongs at this year’s Tech For Techs Awards.
The awards ceremony took place at the Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham, following the Tech MAX networking event and exhibition for tech resellers, manufacturers and distributors in the UK.
The event presented the opportunity for Target to speak with attendees and showcase the latest products from exclusive brands like piXL, prevo and Marvo, as well as customer favourites like Ubiquiti Networking, Gigabyte & Kingston Technology.
In addition, the Target Build Room was a great opportunity for visitors to see for themselves the attention to detail Target technicians provide when building PCs for customers. Attendees also received information and training on using its unique PC configurator for retailers, The In-Store PC Builder, and it’s customisable Flexible Product Feeds that have been designed to use with the latest online marketplace platforms, as well as resellers’ own websites.
The Target technicians were building PCs live and one lucky winner, Rayleigh Computer Shop, won one of the PCs built on the day. Visitors to the Build Room were also lucky enough to get a first look at forthcoming products from new Target brands, Dahua and Royal Axe.
In the evening, the Tech Community came together to recognise the achievements of the industry over the past year, at the third annual Tech For Techs Awards.
Thanks to the unique features of the Target website, such as Flexible Product Feeds and the In-Store PC Builder, Target won the Best Distributor Website award, while no less than three of Target’s own were shortlisted for Best Account Manager; Sean Goldrick, Kash Anwar, and Nick Evans. In recognition of his dedication to Target customers, Sales Team Leader, Sean Goldrick, was named the winner.
